St. Peter – Tours

A Mass is celebrated at the historic Chapel of St. Peter in Harpers Ferry on Sundays at 9:30am for tourists visiting the Harpers Ferry National Park.

Docents, many times wearing Civil War era attire, welcome the public to see the interior of the church. The volunteers provide information about the Historic Chapel of St. Peter and its significant role in the history of Harpers Ferry and western expansion of the infant nation. From Memorial weekend through October, the Chapel of St. Peter is usually open to visitors Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
