Successful Drilling at Chiuta Village, Zambia

March 15, 2025

Dear Deacon James and Deacon Dave, the members of the St. James Catholic Church and Water 4 Mercy,

I'm delighted to share that successful drilling took place at Chiuta Village yielding 1.00 liters of water every second!  The community members were overjoyed and we are so grateful that you have chosen to transform this village.

As per our protocols, water samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing and we are pleased to confirm that the water is safe and fit for human consumption.

The borehole has now been sealed to prevent contamination and our water and civil engineers will begin the water system design, identifying the optimum location for the tower and water distribution points throughout the village.

This is a very exciting stage of the project and we cannot wait to share further updates with you again soon.

Warm regards,

Matilda and the Zambia Team

Successful drilling in Zambia.
